Prairie Summer

Prairie has worked throughout Asia, Africa and the Middle East on human rights, peacebuilding, media and behavior change communications, education, women’s rights and ICT4D programs. Before moving to the Bay Area she managed landmine clearance programs for the UN Mine Action Team in Nepal. She also spent two years working in Lebanon and Jordan on post-conflict recovery and youth engagement programs. Prairie is a graduate of American University and has an MA in International Educational Development/Peace Studies from Columbia University Teacher’s College.
